Midwest Folding needed a mechanism to provide a specific range of lifting force for their new folding table. The new table design weighed more than current tables but needed the same easy user-ability.

Design Integrity designed an innovative torsion spring at the center pivot point, which gives the spring system enough torque to lift and lower the table with minimal force from the user.

The novel design allowed the new table to be taken to market quickly, and was awarded U.S. Patent 7,171, 911. It has since been applied to many new designs at Midwest Folding Products.
